Purchased a built-in HDD

NASに内蔵するHDDを購入。

やっぱ、速度・信頼性・価格のバランスが一番良いのは日立HGSTでしょ、ってわけで決めました。→価格.com
これ、回転数が可変になっているらしく、7200rpmのシリーズに比べて、29％の省電力らしいです。

折角なので現時点最速！ってのを目指そうと思ってましたが、やはり安全性も大事ってことで、可変回転数で静か（日立GSは「CoolSpin」って呼ぶらしい）なモデルにしました。安いしw
先日のBuffaloに登載されていたWesternDigitalのHDDも、単体では特段のトラブルレポートもなさそうだし、とにかく安価なんですが不安なのでやめときました。

会社帰りにショップ（パソコン工房）から持ち帰ったけど、さすがに4台いっぺんには重かったっす。。。

（余談）

そもそものNAS本体だけど、ぼくが購入して「残り21台」となった翌日、どれくらい売れたのかなと見てみると、完売してる！
なんでだろ突然に、と思って見ているとなんと「9000円OFF」になっとるジャマイカ！

組み合わせるHDDとか、ちょうど手を出すか否かの境界ラインにあったって事でしょうね。
2000円の差はもったいないけど買えないよりはマシ。買えてラッキーだったと思うことにしましょう。

あとは、ブツが揃ってきたら、またあらためてレポートします。といっても、性能面は恐らくレポートしません。こういうの買うと色々測るの好きな人居るよねえ、速くなるわけじゃないのにw
でも、考えてみたら、触った感触とか、フロントパネルのヘアラインが美しいとか、そゆのも同じだよね。
その人なりの愛でるやり方があるんだね。
